you have successfully completed Adjustable Gastric Lap-Band Surgery,you want to manage your weight loss in the best way possible. By incorporating a few important features into your eating habits, you can achieve your desired weight and maintain that weight as long as you believe you can.
Right after completion of the surgery
1. The week after the surgery you will eat only clear juice, gelatin and broth.
2. For the following five to six weeks your diet will consist of pureed foods and protein shakes only. This will give your system time to adjust to the change and it eliminates the potential of band slippage that could cause additional surgery.
3. A new exercise plan such as exercise bike or water therapy should be developed.
A Month and a Half Post-Operative

One- After beginning to cook it, start adding your choice of ground meat (could be turkey, chicken, or veal). Hamburgers, pork chops and steak should be avoided because they are difficult to digest.
2. You should eat mostly salads and other vegetables, after shedding them with a food processor. You can consume any vegetable with the exception of those with a lot of starch or seeds.
3. Stay away from starchy foods.
Number Four. Protein is very important during this period and your diet should consist of fifty to sixty grams of protein per day.
